It's Here! It's Here!

It's here! It's here! That is what I was sing songing through the house yesterday when this little beauty arrived. Karla and Beth's Sweet Treats and Roses Recipe Swap book! Look at the lovely cover! It is one of Karla's famous cupcake paintings - which I love! Look at the gorgeous flocked wallpaper at the bottom. So yummy! The sweet rose and tassel complete this gorgeous cover.

My beautiful tag came from Betty at She's Sew Pretty.

The next several photos are a small sampling of some of the 42 beautiful, one of a kind recipe pages that each participant created.







Several people designed the back of their individual page as well. Above is one.

I absolutely love this wonderful one of a kind piece. I am very grateful to Karla and Beth for hosting this swap and for taking the time to put together each individual book and design all of the beautiful covers. Big hugs to everyone!

    Karla, Your recipe art book is gorgeous! {...I'm kicking myself for not signing up!...} Everyone did such beautiful and artistic pages! I'm sure you'll treasure this forever, and possibly try out some new recipes, too! How fun! Betty's tag is pretty, too!

    I got mine yesterday too! It's wonderful to have such a collaborative gem! Wasn't it fun to leaf through. LOVED your page. Lot's o' raspberry recipes (mine included), maybe because the color is so very Valentine's. Thanks for sharing. I'm blogless but appreciate so you who blog. - Amy Bauer

    I have been waiting to see one of the finished books. It's just awesome. I was too late to get in on that swap and was so sorry about it. You posted a comment at my blog about seeing my fireplace. Several others have asked also so I will do a post on my blog very soon on it. ~ Lynn
