Jeff and I found out that we are expecting a baby girl! He was 100% convinced it would be a girl, I remained neutral though I was thinking it might be a girl. Now that we have confirmation it's on to nursery planning!Hugs,
Jeff and I went were in NYC yesterday for a live Food Network taping of the special Guy's Family Feast with Guy Fieri. It was a lot of fun. The taping lasted about 2.5 hours for an hour long show. The show is going to have 6 segments and will air sometime this year or early in 2009. Look out for it. You may see me on TV! Guy truly couldn't be nicer. He gave everyone a chance to meet him and get an autograph or photo. He is truly someone who appreciates that the fans put him where he is. I've been to one other taping for a Food Network celebrity (not naming names) and he was not at all what he appears on TV - very self-centered and not friendly at all. Guy is the complete opposite and the entire audience was fed!
Martha has a fabulous new collection at Macy's. I saw this teapot in a magazine ad and knew I had to have it. It took close to a month to arrive but was well worth it! Now that we are getting into the cooler months, I look forward to using this to whip up some soothing tea, cocoa, and hot cider. Yum!
As I mentioned previously, I'm way behind but slowly catching up. I still have several more Sweet Six projects on my to do list but one that I did make time for was this darling photo board project by Holly.
I used a photo of Jeff for my second board.
Next up will be Heather's hankie bunting!
I just adored Andrea's glitter pumpkins and knew I had to make some for myself. This was such an easy project. I think I'm going to do some larger pumpkins next and sprinkle these displays all around the house. A wonderful, easy, and very inexpensive way to decorate for fall. They have caught the eye of many already - including several men! Let me say - when my husband and father-in-law notice something crafty - I know it is a hit!
