These past two evenings I've finally been able to take some me time to decompress and get back to some crafty endeavors. With so many people off at Silver Bella I was feeling a little glum about missing out on the fun! I made the above Thanksgiving ornaments as little gifts for friends. It often seems Thanksgiving gets overlooked - we have the fun of Halloween and then it seems like we move directly to Christmas - at least the stores do! Check out Angie's blog for participants in the Gratitude Gala. Let's not forget about Thanksgiving!
My sister surprised me recently with some Victorian place cards. I cut out the lovely ladies and used them in some ornaments. You may remember the gold frame from this post. I still haven't decided what I will do with the second frame. I think something with a Christmas theme...
Svenja and I recently did a swap. She asked for some crepe paper rolls and in return I received this lovely parcel of papers and glitter stars.
In case you haven't already heard, Natasha is hosting a prom! A Virtual Vintage Prom that is! This should be a lot of fun. You can post photos from your prom days or photos of prom/evening gown attire, or vintage foofy and sparkly prom pretties, the possibilities are endless!
Have a great weekend everyone! I'll be back next week with photos of the fun from Laurie's glitter workshop and NYC.

What pretty ornaments! Yes, Thanksgiving seems to get stuck in between Halloween and Christmas and not given the honor it is due! =)

Hi Karla, those ornaments are so pretty. Thanks for the open and supportive comment on my post. I am taking a nice natural hormonal leveller at the moment but need to do try some other alternatives to take the edge of. Reiki might be a good one:)
