A Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! I am not one bit Irish but I've always loved this day. From the time I was a child I would wish we were Irish and I would always dress in green and my mother would paint shamrocks on my face (thanks for indulging me Mom!). Today I will be wearing my wonderful glittery brooch made from Vanessa's directions and Jeff and I will have our family over tonight for corned beef and cabbage, and Irish soda bread (incidentally, I have heard from several people that the Irish don't eat corned beef and cabbage - any Irish readers that can comment on this? That's so funny...we did the same growing up! My mom did the whole nine yards...green milk, applesauce, jello, etc. Anything green!! We aren't a bit of Irish either!! Have a Happy St. Patty's Day!!

Happy St Pats! Have fun with your corned beef and cabbage dinner. I'm thinking about going out for Ruebens- I don't know if they're really Irish, but I think of them as St Paddy's day food.
