First up on the holiday party calendar is Louise's Home Sweet Home. So come on in to my home!
I've prepared some hot cocoa and marshmallows for you. So sticky sweet. Yum!
It was a rainy dreary day yesterday. I took these photos at night as the daylight wasn't any good anyway. Some are a bit grainy but bear with me! Getting home from work in the dark is one of the downsides of this time of year.
Above is the bay window in my kitchen. It could still use some more holiday sprucing but I just don't have the energy this year! I don't know if its the pregnancy or what. We've scaled back. The tree isn't even decorated yet! So unlike me. Its up but it is bare as can be. I'm hoping to get it all trimmed up tonight.
What do we have here? It appears Mrs. Santa may have stopped by to hang her apron. I wonder if she left me any cookies?
Hey! It appears that Santa has made it to the cookies first. Save some for me big guy!
The big tree may not be trimmed but our little cardinal tree is ready for her close-up.
So as I was saying, grainy photos. This is with all the living room lamps on too!
What would Christmas be without Charlie Brown and the gang?

This little guy is one of the very first Christmas things I purchased after Jeff and I got together.
Here Santa hangs out in the mudroom keeping an eye on all the comings and goings and making sure we are being very nice.
Brr! It sure is!

Honestly I didn't see anything grainy. I love the low light photos! Your home looks very inviting. I LOVE that wall rack/hanger...is that wallpaper behind the hooks?
Hi Karla :) Yummy ! Your hot chocolate seems to be delicious ! Lovely decorations ! I like your photos ! Thnak you for sharing :) I come from Louise's blog My little girl aged 8, Clara is participating as well at this lovely Home sweet Home's Party :) Have a lovely day :)
Your photos look great to me! (We've had days of rain here, too, and I know how dark and gloomy it seems to have been - I call it "Christmas mud" instead of "Christmas snow"! lol)
Love your decorations, Karla! And the mug of cocoa... I could use one of those right now! =)
I love the glimpses of Christmas at your house. I remember my first pregnancy. I was always falling asleep...anywhere and everywhere. I spent Christmas on the couch that year!
Sip sip...yummy cocoa! I love marshmellows in mine, too! Everything you've shown looks so nice! Hope you do get to the tree tonight! Enjoy!
Hugs, Heidi
Love it! Especially Santa as Chef!

Yum. Good cocoa! I'm getting my act together -- hopefully to post more by Sunday or Monday.
Lovely photos of your beautiful holiday things! Love the snowfolk and Santa. It's all beautiful -- hard to choose! Don't you love this time of year?
We have been drinking lots of hot cocoa here trying to pretend its cold out ..lol!
I definitely think its being pregnant that is hindering getting that tree decorated, I have been so tired.
Love your baby its cold outside sign , too cute!
Hope you and bebe are well:)
Hugs!
That hot cocoa is giving me ideas. Ideas I perhaps should not be having...
Nothing like an apron collection in the kitchen...did Mrs. Claus leave you a cookie?
Thank you for sharing your home with us. Enjoy your holidays!
Hi Karla, thank you for visiting Margie's Crafts and leaving your kind comments. I love your blog and this post is so inspiring. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and the hot choc and marshmallows were a welcome treat. hugs Margie.
Hi,
Congratulations....Your posting is very interesting...Keep writing.. Welcome to my blog...
Wishing you in advance "A Merry X'Mas and A Happy New Year''
That hot cocoa sure looks inviting, I have heard about the food and drinks served at your house . . . Don't worry, I have 3 trees and not one is completely decorated yet, hence I am not participating in the party!!! Rachaelxo
Thank you Karla for your visit :) Oh I love your snowman mug with it cocoa and marshmallows ! It sounds delicious ! Happy Holidays :) Hugs
Hot Chocolate. My favorite. Your home is lovely. Thank you for sharing. I hope you and your family have a blessed and joyful holiday.
I'm so glad I found your blog! LOVING the hot cocoa & the holiday decor! :) Chris
The cocoa does look yummy...I love the mug and spoon. The sign is so fitting, especially right now for me here in northern Idaho, we just got over a foot of snow and now we're supposed to be getting to -20, so it is pretty cold (and my music just switched to "Baby It's Cold Outside"). Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking a peek!
Every little touch is just beautiful Karla!
