Not Much Going On

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say I'm still here. I have been in kind of a slump lately. I haven't worked on much in terms of creative endeavors since Christmas. I've been busy reading baby books and trying to organize things before the baby arrives in March. We have to tackle the nursery next. I feel so overwhelmed by it all but I'm trying very hard to take it one day at a time and I remind myself that people do this everyday so I can handle it!

I think a lot of people go into creative burnout after the rush of the holidays.
Just take it a day at a time and maybe start a vision/decor board for the nursery of your dreams.

Hang in there sweet Mama. Just take it a day at a time. I know the fatigue and hormones can make it really difficult at times but YOU WILL GET THROUGH IT. Don't push yourself too hard and remember the baby won't know any better if the nursery is completely done or not!!
Happy New Year!

Karla! You'll be fine! One day at a time now...one hour at a time when baby arrives! Enjoy this nesting part! Hugs, Heidi

No crafting for me either I'm afraid!
We are painting the babies room next week ..yippy! Well I'm not but you know what I mean. We have so much stuff and no where to put it all . I havent wanted to bring it all up to his room because we would have to drag it all outta there to paint!
Hopefully after next week I can start putting clothes away and decorating :)
Have you purchased your bedding yet?
How have you been feeling?

Hi Karla!
Say, you do not have to have everything perfect! Yours and the hubby's love is all the sweet babe really needs. Fluff is fluff.
Do what you can do.
Can you imagine how beautiful your baby is gooing to be!!! Yes, it may take some adjustments to a new schedule... you are informed and intelligent and brimming with love!

Big Hugs,
Mary

Hi Karla,

I can't believe that this little bundle is due in March. That has gone so fast, at least for your adoring fans in blog land. I hope all is going well and PLEASE have fun putting that nursery together. That is the best part!
PS. When are you going to treat us to seeing that big belly of yours?

Enjoy,
Tammy

Hi Karla~ After the holidays is often a time to kind of slow down and pull in. Just relax and enjoy this time before the baby comes. FInd things that make you happy and do them and know that everything doesn't have to be done at once. Take care!
Also- thanks for the comment you left on my site- it is very much appreciated- feel free to visit again!

Love the Anne Taintor picture- love all her stuff! Happy New Year! I am expecting a new little bundle of joy in late April, so I know how you feel. I have the bug to get my house in order and organized and all before the baby comes because as third time mama I know it won't happen after the baby! So exiting!
Congratulations!!

You'll do just fine, Karla!!! Take all the rest you need... we didn't even have the nursery fully decorated and set up until AFTER our first baby was born! We had the crib fitted with bedding... some newborn clothes in one bureau drawer, and that's about it! (And... we didn't even have a name for the baby till AFTER he was born! And at 14 years old, that "baby" fits his name just perfectly. Everything as far as preparations go has a way of working itself out!) hugs!!!!
