Nursery Peek

Hi everyone! All is going well here. We have made great strides in the nursery and everything is pretty much done save for two things to hang on the walls. Above is a peek at the crib. Special thanks to everyone who gave me such fabulous suggestions when I was having the bedding issues several posts back. We found the bumper at Pottery Barn Kids - it was on sale and I had a gift card so that was a big score! We really wanted a polka dot crib skirt and couldn't find one with the large size dots so this is a queen sized flat sheet from Garnet Hill folded in half. Now if you are a regular reader, you know I do not sew! Luckily the sheet fit perfectly over the crib platform, no sewing required. Phew!

I'll post some more photos when the room is more complete and when the lighting is better. I have had several people request that I post a photo of the baby bump so here you go! Can you tell that even my maternity clothes are getting too tight at this point?

You look AWESOME Karla! Your bump is tiny!!! And you've hardly gained any extra weight!!!! Lucky you!!! With baby #2, my bump was the size of yours at about 3 months! lol And you know, once the baby is on the OUTSIDE, give it a couple of months and you'll want to do it all over again ~ I'm sure of it! =)))) hugs!
And that baby girl's nursery looks so dreamy ~ I just love it!

Hello Karla! I can't even believe the time is nearly here!!!! You know (true confessions here)... when I saw you last June and we sat at Kate's, I wondered if you might be pregnant (you cracked a tiny yawn once or twice... and I remembered those little daytime very-early-on-in-pregnancy yawns from when I was pregnant for the first time)! =)))) hugs to you!

Hello "Mama"???
Are you going to pack your computer with your things for the hospital? I really think that you should, even if it is a desk top. Or maybe you can stroll over to the nurses desk and use their computer to make your "New Gift" post! :) hehehe
How are you feeling Karla? Are tired of this question?
I hope that you are feeling wonderful.
Blessings to you and Jeff:)
