Fabulous Friends

I know most of us have said this before and I know I've mentioned it a few times but wow - I still can't get over the talent and the generosity of the blog world! The above pretty is from Heather. I had admired some of her recent collages and she whipped this one right up for Sugar Bear Central. It will hold a prominent place in my now clean work space where it will inspire me everytime I look at it.

Recently I was very honored to introduce Laura, a new blogger on the scene. She thanked me by sending me the most wonderful package. She mentioned she wanted to send a little thank you, but when I received the package this weekend, I was blown away! Above is a very small sampling of some of the goodies she sent: crepe paper (some vintage including a fabulous Dennison fluted roll!), cards, French postcards, vintage wallpaper, sheet music, and the most scrumptious vintage magazine clippings. Check these out!

Wouldn't you love to wear one of these sweaters at your next party?

This is an advertisment for the pattern to make your own quilted skirt.

Love this ad! If this isn't a tre chic outfit worthy of The Satorialist - I don't know what is!

Aww, how cute.

Now here is an outfit I would so wear. Thanks again Laura! (If you like what you see, she is selling more vintage magazine clippings in her Etsy shop.) Do pop over for a visit if you haven't - she is quite talented and has a wonderful giveaway.

Hugs,

Hello,
To answer your question from my blog, I have purchased from her before:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5174486
I noticed her cute, girl aprons and also,
These are SOOO sweet!
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9503043
This seller uses vintage fabrics

I think 15-20 dollars seems reasonable.
I hope that helps!

You lucky girl- you've had some great mail days!

I love those chic fashions from the 50's. I know that today's supermodels are super skinny- but the ladies in those old magazines seem positivly tiny.

Hi, Love all your goodies!! I did just use craft paint. I sprayed it with metal primer, then white spray paint then craft paints and then Glimmer Mist...I waited 48 hours before sealing it so it would cure...let me know if you paint on your computer!! Laurie
