Winter Winter Go Away

Is anyone else feeling like this? I'm so ready for spring and I see spring fever has hit big time all around blogland. The last few days I have felt blah - doing the same ol routine of work, laundry, cleaning, cooking - ahhh I want to scream! I can't wait for the sunshine and longer days. My energy and motivation seem to have a significant correlation with the sun and temperature levels. Do you feel like there are suddenly more hours in the day when the sun is out longer? I know there are 24 hours in a day no matter how you slice it but I feel like I can get so much more accomplished when I get home from work and still have daylight - I can cook, craft, run errands, see a movie, visit the local ice cream parlor - and on and on. During winter, I get home from work and want to jump on the couch and sleep - hmm, maybe I should consider hibernating next year!

YES I agree wholeheartedly Karla!!! That's why I don't want Autumn and Winter to come here, I'm just not a fan, lol!
A few of our states don't do daylight savings, they just don't get it, and understand what can be achieved and how wonderful it feels!

Yes, hibernations sounds like a great idea but don't worry before long the blossoms will come. When I lived in Vancouver I would start my gardening in March but here the season doesn't start till May so I'm a bit ansy. I hit the garden centre and started planning anyway, buying seeds & doing some indoor gardening. It's helping get those spring ants out of my pants and cheered me up! If you're a gardener this might help hurry up spring a bit.

Spring tried top make an appearance this past weekend and then POW! Winter stormed back in last night!

It won't be long though...I keep telling myself that...

Bring on Spring! Yes, Karla, I do feel that I have more hours in the day with the daylight lasts longer. It is grey gloomy and rainy here today. Makes me want to go take a nap...

Penny

LOL Karla, I feel the exact same way. Once it's dark the day is over. I am so excited that daylight savings time starts this weekend. It won't get dark until 7 p.m Yippee!
