Happy New Year

Wishing all of my blog friends a Happy New Year. I'm really not a fan of New Year's. I get down when Christmas ends and the "magic" is gone and to me New Year's is always a let down - a holiday thrown in - but I can't say that I'll be sad to see 2007 go. It has been one of the most trying and difficult years for me and some of my close friends and family. 2008 is full of bright promise. I can't say all was bad in 2007 - one of the very best things that ever happened to me came about in March of 2007 - when I started blogging and met all of you. You are truly all inspirations to me and I feel a very close bond with all of you even though most of us have never met. I wish you all light, love, peace, and prosperity in 2008 and beyond and I look forward to starting the journey of the New Year with all of you.

I saw where the new ball only uses the energy of ten toasters.
That is a tidbit of information that may come in handy!
Happy New Year Y'all!

Best wishes to you for the new year, Karla! I'm kind of feeling the after-Christmas let down, too. It was sad to see the tree taken down! But, on a positive note, the house feels much more spacious now. :)

Thanks for sharing all your artwork with us; it's been a blessing to me and an inspiration!

I agree with you Karla. 2007 was a very trying year for us too. And if my doggie Casper comes home from the vet's later today and it's not his kidneys failing, then 2008 will be off to a great start! I also started my blog several months ago and met some really incredible people. Take care dear...

Hi Karla, we are with you, we are a little flat today in having to take down the tree. Sometimes it is hard to put thoughts into words. We just wanted to say, we wish that the New Year can be the start of a new beginning with Hope Joy and Love to you and your loved ones lives. We treasure you as our dear friend :) Jenn and Jacqui xo

I wish you a sweet 2008 dear Karla.
You are in my thoughts!
It is always a let down when it comes and goes all too quickly. It is so bittersweet and makes me a little melancholy too.
I sen you big, warm hugs...happy new year dear heart. You have been a blessing to me!

Love and hugs,
Sue

I hear you Karla. When the deco comes down I am going to be slightly down, it always happens. With the festivity gone and the blowing cold still here for quite some time it seems unavoidable.

Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Adventurous New year though and I can't wait for Spring!!

Hugs,
Jenn
