Smoothies

Okay - make that a non-alcoholic one for me right now! I love frozen drinks esp. smoothies. They can be a great way to get some good nutrition and great refreshment. Here is the recipe for one of my favorites, which granted is not very nutritional but very thirst quenching!

Watermelon Wavelength

1 1/2 C. Diced seeded watermelon
3/4 C. Lemon sorbet
8 Ice cubes
1 Tbl. fresh lemon juice
Pinch of salt

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

I also want to say thoughts and prayers are with the Gulf Coast. Praying and hoping that the hurricane will not become the monster that was Katrina.

Glad to read that things are going well with you. I join you in hoping that this hurricane is significantly less severe than Katrina.
