Natalea's I Want Candy Swap and Time Crunch

Here is a sampling of the pages I made for Natalea's I Want Candy Swap. This will be a collaborative book with a candy theme. I know it will be fabulous and can't wait to get my completed book!

There is a lot going on this week. The fabulous Sweet Six Studio art retreat begins today. Yay! I can't wait for the fabulous projects to begin. All six of the girls have been making my mouth water with their sneak peeks.

I'm also going through yet another change this week. I begin grad school - gulp! It has been close to 10 years since I graduated from college and I truly had no intention of pursuing a graduate level degree. The funny thing is that I work at my alma mater and we get free tuition - yes you read that right - I can get my Master's degree for free. I just never had the desire, and to be truthful, I still have no desire. But there is a new master's program that is entirely online - I figured I'd at least start it and see how it goes - what do I have to lose? We'll see how this goes. I may be more scarce as I try to keep up with my art retreat projects and homework!

Oh those cards are yummy! We're so glad to have you at our SSS Online Art Retreat, Karla! :) And a master's degree....good for you! I'd love to do that someday, too, but this time in art or design or something creative. I didn't even KNOW I liked art in college! How are you feeling? I hope you are well. xoxo

Congratulations for working on a masters! As much time as I spend on the computer, I should be doing something useful there too. Smart move on your part.

Love your pages for Natalea's swap. That will be a darling book. Good luck on your Master's...yes, you should do it especially since it's free. Online might get lonely...maybe you'll still have some study groups for support?
